The purpose of this book is twofold: to share 

my expertise on navigating the complex 

balance between profit and mission in social 

enterprises, and to explain the deep "why" 

behind my decision to pursue my doctoral 

degree.

Over years of research, I saw countless social 

entrepreneurs face a recurring struggle: when 

financial pressures arise, they can threaten the 

very core values that inspired their ventures in 

the first place. My book offers a guide to avoid 

the mission-drift and helps hybrid ventures 

remain anchored to their social purpose while 

achieving sustainable success.

With actionable frameworks, real-world case 

studies, and practical insights, I’ve created 

a resource designed for students, social 

entrepreneurs, and anyone passionate about 

building businesses that combine ethics and 

impact. This is more than a book—it’s a call to 

action to inspire and empower individuals to 

create change while staying true to their values.

Why does this matter so much to me?
