Dr. Calvin Lawrence, Ed. D., brings over 41 years of experience and leadership across multiple sectors. Originally from Virginia and now based in Texas, Dr. Lawrence's extensive career spans teaching, coaching, and leadership roles at every level. A graduate of James Madison University, Dr. Lawrence furthered his education with a master’s degree from Texas Christian University, a post-master's in administration from Texas Woman’s University, and a doctorate from Baylor University.

Currently, Dr. Lawrence serves as the CEO of CalvinLawrenceSpeaks, where he engages diverse audiences in motivation, leadership, and diversity practices. He is also the author of the book ''The Happy Leader'' - a powerful collection of narratives that offer insights into leadership, hope, and influence. 

As DEI Advisor to the Social Entrepreneurship Research Institute (SERI), Dr. Lawrence is dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the realm of social entrepreneurship.

Dr. Lawrence is married to Amanda, and they have one adult son, Caleb, a recent graduate of Abilene Christian University.
